IPAA Awards- A Review

The semi known (In the community) IPAA awards ceremony FINALLY took place this past December 27th.
The world was saddened once everyone realized that the actual "awards ceremony" was nothing similar to a red carpet event. The ceremony was read via web-cam by 4 people that nobody knows of. This has to be the biggest Flop of 2009. Congrats IPAA, you won an award yourself! Biggest Ass Kissing money collecting broken promises award of 2009.

The Ghost Divas review the winners of the IPAA awards. They are surprised to see who "won" by popularity or who the nobodies were that forked over the most money to win.

Sad attempt at an event. Too bad all the "paranormal big dogs" that support IPAA, Para-X, and the other ParaTV networks could not help them out? Congrats IPAA!

The Divas Deliver

This weeks guest- Erica Behringer is a tour guide for Weird Chicago Tours and ghost hunts, with over ten years of ghost hunting experience thus far. She immerses herself into the history and hauntings at locations nationwide - from private residences to historic landmarks. This work has taken her across the country and even brushes with fame on television, yet she still seeks the elusive "evidence and validation" of life on the other side. A professional filmmaker by trade - having worked on movies, documentaries, music videos, and a common addition to most of the Chicago sports teams' locker rooms for all those interviews you fans love to see.
Along with video and editing work, she is also an amateur photographer, learning the ways of ghost photography. You may have also seen her in several feature films, as that is where her roots in "the industry" truly started - in front of the camera, before she found her love of directing behind the scenes. You may also have seen her small stint in the famed Second City of Chicago at Piper's Alley (hmm... there may be a few ghost stories from there as well, you'll just have to ask her about though!) In 2005 she started her own production company called Templar Pictures to pursue her love of making films. Ghost Hunting was pretty hard to come by in the small town where she was raised, so she took it upon herself to start her own group which grew very quickly. Now she has left the team in capable hands and freelances her talents to teams across the country looking for her area of expertise in video and documenting. She co-founded a team of other free-thinking ghost hunting individuals called ParaNocturne
When not working in the locker room with the boys, editing from the office, or spending the night in a haunted asylum - she enjoys teaching and practicing Reiki as a Reiki Master / Practitioner throughout the Chicago area. She combines this with her practice of crystal therapy and has begun teaching classes in that as well. Some may point the finger and call her "witch"... she neither confirms nor denies these claims. Erica currently resides in the suburbs of the Chicago area, though quite nomadic in her travels to wherever work and ghost hunting might take her.
